"Darrel and the rest of the staff was more than accommodating. They could not have been friendlier or more helpful with your every request. The electricity went out two times not the fault of the resort, but the backup generator was not working. We had a beachfront cottage which had wonderful views."

"This is a very nice hotel, with a great staff a nice gym, excellent swimming pool, and good restaurant. The beds are comfortable. The concierge in front desk are excellent probably one of the best places in Davao city."

"Front office staff were very helpful, respectful, and friendly. This is a review of the hotel room conditions. First room was awful. Leaking faucet and disgusting looking sink, with mottled caulking. I complained so We were transferred to another room. No hot water and the shower head was spraying mist instead of water. Same condition as the other one. We were so tired so we stayed in the room. The next morning,I complained about the condition of the room, so we were then transferred again to a...

""I had a wonderful stay at the Insular, thanks to the outstanding views, lush landscapes, and the rich history of the property. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly welcoming. However, I was disappointed by the condition of the beach. There was a significant amount of debris and garbage flowing from the canal, to the point where I found myself picking up litter during my visit. With a bit more attention to beach maintenance."
