St Clair's Falls,  the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka, is also known as Little Niagara of Sri Lanka. It is located among tea gardens and can be seen from the Hatton – Talawakelle Road. Mlesna Tea Centre is one of the biggest distributors of tea in Sri Lanka. I wanted to visit because I was intrigued by how its architecture is designed to look like a cute little castle. It was founded by James Taylor, also known as the Father of Ceylon Tea. He started off planting coffee as a trainee, but during the Coffee Blight crisis, switched to planting tea on his experimental plot. This marked the beginnings of the tea industry in Sri Lanka, which was then known as Ceylon. I highly recommend their tea/gift shop, which has a variety of flavours that are delicious. Gostámos de ficar no tea garden, num estilo bungalow típico da zona. É uma casa com 3 quartos e se os “vizinhos” fizerem muito barulho ouve-se nos outros quartos pq na verdade é uma casa familiar. It is always amazing to beat the path and walk along the unknown road which leads to local gems. I was wandering around Hatton region near my home and walked along the tea plantations without having any idea where I'm going. Finally, I ended up here with a breath-taking view of the Castlereagh Reservoir. Don't be afraid to beat the path. #LoveMyTown

A photo taken while I was traveling to Badulla in the upcountry railway line. This is the most scenic railway line in Sri Lanka and it's highly recommended. You will find this one in a life lite experience. It is totally 8 hour ride if my memory is good.
