"We spent two nights in this wonderful two storey, three bedroom house in French Farm - 10 minutes drive from Akaroa. The french influence in the decor is evident from when you first enter. The two lounge areas offer plenty of space to relax and the spacious downstairs bedroom was perfect for us. The amazing kitchen provided everything we needed to self cater. "This home is beautiful and very accessible to the town of Christchurch and surrounding attractions. My children loved the pool and the kitchen was very user friendly and spacious. The only complaint was that there were not many hangers in each room and limited towels. The showers leaked on the floor and we needed to use the towels to dry the floors and ensure they would be safe given that they were concrete and slippery when wet. "overall a great place. superb views and comfortable sleeping for all the family. quiet and private setting. some minor things could be improved, (soap dish bathroom) (tongs for cooking) (general instruction book about the house) (some doors broken etc) but to be honest these were minor to the fantastic time we enjoyed here. would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. many thanks- we had a great time."
