During my first night here, my aircon and fire sprinkler was leaking when i returned for the night and the foyer in my room was flooded. However, as the front desk is only manned from 11pm-8am, i could not get any help. At 8am, i went to the front desk and they sent a maintenance guy about an hour later. He was also very apologetic and offered for me to have my room switched. He and the staff that morning were friendly, and courteous throughout my stay.
However, my reason for a low rating is all due to 1 front desk staff who is very unhappy with his work. I was out after i switched the room and did not have the chance to test the bidet, and only realised it was not working after a day out. I asked him for help which he grumbled and unhappily walked to my room. Before opening the door to my room, he blamed me for overloading the sockets causing a trip int he circuit. I told him that i had just arrived and have not even plugged anything in. He was visibly unhappy with my reply, grumbled and blamed me again. While he was solving the issue, he was very vocal about it being my fault for causing the trip and if it happens again he would not help me. After it was resolved, he made it a point to firmly lecture me about not overloading the sockets and to only plug in 1 plug per socket. I saw him again on another night and he seem as unpleased with work as i when i asked for help.
Apart from this very irritable interaction with this guy, the location of the hotel is good.
