St. Francis Lakeside #40 - Miller

This is a comfortable, three-bedroom three bath end unit townhome condominium that has a view of the lake. The upstairs living area is bright and sunny. In the summer months, you can enjoy the balcony off of the living room. Newly painted and all beds and linens have been updated. DO NOT use the loft. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the lower level, the third bedroom and another full bath are on the upper level. It is located close to all amenities which include a beach area, pier, swimming pool, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor spa, sand volleyball court and courtyard BBQ facilities. There is wifi at the unit. It is in a great lakefront development for a family vacation. Close to bike & hiking trails and just adjacent to a public boat launch. Very close to Tahoe City for fine dining, shopping and entertainment. The central location provides an easy drive to ski resorts like Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood.

The indoor spa is open in the winter months - Closes 4/1/2025. The outdoor spa will open seasonally with the pool(Memorial Day).
All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

4th of July weekend

This property is a little gem. The condo includes access to tennis, pickleball, volleyball, pool/hottub, pier, and little beach area.The condo itself is a Tahoe Classicā€¦ cozy and inviting with two balconies. One off of a bedroom and the other off the living space.View of the lake is beautiful. Loved our stay!!

Memorial Day 2025

A wonderful stay - perfect for my crew, meaning not too fancy and plenty of space for my three-year-old to explore. The grounds were in great shape, and I was thankful the pool opened up while we were there. Minor suggestions: 1. The BBQ needs to be cleaned - we were not comfortable using it. 2. Not certain the upstairs TV worked - which is fine. Who comes to Tahoe to watch TV!

Great location

Loved that we had a view of the lake from dining room and deck and access to pier to watch sunrise. Liked proximity and walking trail to town. Liked that the kitchen was well equipped. Liked court and pool options. Not luxurious but comfortable and homey.

Nice but needs a snow shovel

Stayed during a big winter storm and while a lot of the property was plowed, the driveway was not always. It became increasingly difficult to get in and out of the driveway even with chains. We called property management to ask for a snow shovel (there was none in the unit). And they basically said we were SOL. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and found the property as described.

Dated Condo but Cozy & Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at the condo for our ski trip to Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe, which are nearby - approximately 15 minutes away by car. The condo is a bit dated, but the location is great / convenient, only 1.1 miles from the Tahoe City Safeway. The condo has a view of Lake Tahoe, which is only a very short walk across a parking lot and there is a little dock you can walk out on for photo opps. The amenities were fair, but we could not find a sharp kitchen knife which was slightly frustrating. Agree with other review that the condo is an older building and you can occasionally hear creaks when someone is walking, but it was bearable. The layout is nice, with the master suite located on the first floor that allows for privacy. Great very hot water for baths! The master bed was very soft but somehow surprisingly comfortable. The unit has a gas fireplace upstairs and gets very warm and cozy in a short time. Also, the wifi worked great. Thank you!

Lovely complex

Property management very responsive, (except closed weekends), unit had plenty of linens, pool and spa are awesome and the grounds well kept. But....the view is everything! The lake is breathtaking!

Great stay! Beautiful home!

We all loved our stay at the Saint Francis home Miller. The house was very clean. It was close to the waters. This house had everything we needed. There's a bathroom for every room which we loved. If we come back to Tahoe again we are definitely choosing this house to stay at. Although the floors were a little bit squeaky. That was really nothing compared to how comfortable and relaxing this house is. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family..

Perfect location and great accommodations

We loved our stay. Check in was easy and the views are amazing. Accommodations are spacious and comfortable. The only complaint is that the pool and spa were not in working order. We were looking forward to those amenities. However, we were overall happy with our stay and would love to here again.

Affordable Lakeview Condo

This place has a nice lake view and everything we wanted for a weekend at Tahoe. That said, itā€™s a funky old ski condo ā€” carpets everywhere, old appliances, limited kitchen utensils for cooking ā€” so be aware this is a budget option for a group. The indoor hot tub also closed for the season while we were there, so inquire about amenities before you book if thatā€™s important to you.

The condo was comfortable and well heated. The rooms were far enough away to get some alone time. The swivel chairs in the front room weā€™re comfortable too. Nice view of the lake. We hope to stay there again next year.

Need to be upgraded!

All the beds need to be upgraded. Carpets were very old and dirty. There was cobwebs around the windows and doors. looks like it was not dusted in a while. Refrigerator was old and parts inside where broken off. All rooms on both floors when walking on them were very squeaky it would wake us up at night when someone was walking on them. Not a quality unit. Was dirty and not well kept up.

Older condo in a great location.

Great location of property in Tahoe City. Home was definitely older and featured older home touches with creaking floors, older appliances & furniture. The home had almost everything we needed to get by for a week and was in great proximity to restaurants, ski resorts, and other adventures on Lake Tahoe.

Ski weekend for the family

The property was really nice and roomy and well equipped. And we had a great time. The online review does say thereā€™s a spa/pool. The spa is super small in a dark room and wasnā€™t that appealing to take the kiddos too and no pool. Wasnā€™t sure if we could use the loft as there was nothing in the property to say we couldnā€™t but when I went back to look at the listing once we had settled in to find out how to get access to the spa I noticed it said not to use the loft.

Perfect for ski vacation

Cozy condo for our family ski vacation. Short drive to Squaw & lots of wonderful x-country ski options nearby. Great view of lake. Kitchen was well equipped which made meal prep easy.
