"We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage in Bantry. We were welcomed by a cozy fire and the place was clean and charming. We loved the kitchen and enjoyed cooking and dining together there. It had everything needed. Walks around and the views out of each window were beautiful. The bathtub was welcome during a gusty storm. I would stay again. Great for family. "Great house in a beautiful setting and convenient location. I overlooked in the description but important to note the host, Debra, lives upstairs. She is absolutely lovely and checked in on us during the storm to see if we needed anything. This was a last minute booking that saved our trip!"

"The cottage was spacious and great for four friends staying together for a week of walking in Co Cork. All the needs that are required ie. towels, sheets, kitchen utensils etc, were there. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishwasher tablets and a washing machine working perfectly. It's a 10 min drive from Castletownbere so no walking to the nearest pub/restaurant. A taxi ride to go into town. A beautiful location and a lovely spot to have time away from it all. I'd definitely go back "

"The house was absolutely perfect for our group of eight golfers for five nights as all the courses were nearby. Plenty of space as everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. We had two nights catered for dinner which was very convenient and perfectly executed. I would highly recommend this manor house to any large group exploring the area."

"Loved the layout of the Loft, plus it had character. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had most of our meals directly from the kicthen. Beds were comfortable and clean as was the rest of the house. The location is within walking distance to town, and 10 minutes drive to most of the landmarks within the area. We had apples and pears just outside the door and Bernadette graciously let us pick them - and they were delicious!"

"The location of the house cannot be beat as it is just a few minutes walk to the town. All 5 bedrooms are en-suite with 2 more bathrooms as well. The clothes washing machine/dryer combination unit, while not the same as a typical US setup, proved adequate. Due to the length of our stay (16 days) the owner arranged for a housekeeper visit and the place looked like new again afterwards.There is a bit of street noise, however for us that was easily overlooked in favor of the homes...
