The kitchen had everything we needed, the living room was spacious, my don slept on the sofa and found it comfortable, my bed was really comfy, and the bathroom was nice and roomy. "Lovely family run motel. We were upgraded to a suite which I would recommend as the dining options are limited in the area with the exception of driving to Nelson. The on-site restaurant was lovely - went there for dinner on our first night. We'll be back!"

"It has one of the most beautiful gardens I've ever seen. Designed over years. There are hidden treasures all through it. The Mansion itself is exactly what you would expect from an ultra Rich family from 100 plus years ago. I definitely will be staying again"

"We stayed in this place for a few nights and it was lovely. The space was roomy and homey, there was plenty of extra beds and bedding, and the kitchen was the most functional kitchen I've seen in a vacation rental. There was a decent amount of cooking utensils and necessities (salt, olive oil, etc) too.
