"Was a really great place for our mom/daughter weekend up north. Beautifully decorated, and everything we needed was there, as well as a few nice surprises we wouldn’t have expected. Such a comfy, cozy little place, even through the stormy weather we had one night. I hope to return with my husband sometime in the fall or winter. Highly recommended. "

"Highly recommend! It is true “glamping” with all the amenities of a hotel room, but a lake view from the master bedroom in the morning is amazing. Very attentive host, all the utensils you need, Keurig coffee maker, full bath with plenty of hot water & lake access. Beautiful sitting areas by the lake, plenty of fire pits & outdoor games. We will be booking here again and the outdoor experience with perfect location from Grand Rapids is worth it! "

"This house was perfect for our friends getaway weekend. We used this house for 3 households to come together and be able to getaway for a few days. We have children in the group ranging infant to 9 years of age and from the kids to the adults, the house met all our needs. There was plenty of space to come together or spread out as we needed. All of the amenities were comfortable and it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The view of the Mississippi and the wild life was so nice. We had a very relaxing Memorial Day weekend. Loved the house and the location. It will be nicer once the river is warmer, then I would be inclined to try kayaking!"

"We enjoyed a great time with our family at the cottage. We had so much fun around the fire pit with the beautiful river view. So peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed playing games and grilling and sitting on the deck. Everything was comfortable and accommodating. Communication was perfect. Our stay was short but everyone had a great time."

"Nice water front cabin! Great area for boating, biking, and hiking. Short bike ride to the Mesabi Bike Trail. Mike is very accommodating to your needs. Well kept place, very clean with nice touches like bottles of water, coffee, very nice towels etc. The separate screen porch is a nice addition giving views of the lake. Swan Lake is an above average lake, clear water and I was told a decent fishing lake. We would definitely stay there again. "

"The tent cabin is really cute and was comfortable for a family of four. We used the sauna and also rented the boat for a couple of days. It is on the steep driveway, which isn’t a problem for us since our car is four-wheel-drive, but you will want to avoid driving to the bottom if you have a 2 Wheel Dr. car. Be aware that the lakefront is not swimmable because of high vegetation, but the lake itself is beautiful and great to take a boat on. Close to Grand Rapids and many other activities. "

"Our stay was absolutely amazing! The place was exactly as pictured online, and although the weather wasn’t perfect, we still had a fantastic time.
