Up to six guests can stay in this inviting home, which has two bathrooms and three bedrooms, including one with single beds. The two-storey house has ample space for families to relax. The upper floor has a balcony, while the courtyard boasts a hammock and lush garden. The house is close to Balmain’s downtown with Balmain Market, Gladstone Park and various dining options.

Set across two storeys, this charming home caters to large families with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It accommodates little ones with single beds and a shower bath. The downstairs living and dining area is spacious and filled with comfortable furnishings, while the open kitchen features high-end appliances. It also offers outdoor living with a garden courtyard and upstairs balcony.

The Neighborhood:
About 15 minutes from the Sydney CBD, Balmain is an attractive neighbourhood filled with Victorian-era houses, alfresco cafes and lush parks. It’s home to a popular restaurant scene, which is best experienced along Darling Street, along with fashionable boutiques, artisan bakeries and cosmopolitan eateries. Visit the Balmain Market on weekends for handicrafts and organic goods and venture north or east to relax at waterside parks.

Public transport
The Balmain Wharf ferry terminal is about 600 metres away and has regular ferries to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. There are multiple bus stops along Darling Street with the line 442 servicing the surrounding suburbs and accessing the Sydney CBD in about 25 minutes.

Ride sharing
Ride sharing apps are a safe and easy way to get around, especially late at night when public transport services are less frequent. Prices are about two-thirds of a taxi, but may surge during bad weather or public events.

- Bins are located outside the sliding glass door in the dining room
- Unlimited street parking available on Cooper Street and St Andrews Street
- Parking in the courtyard of the property is prohibited.

- Access to the backyard is not available to guests. The courtyard can be used as an alternative.

There is construction at the neighbours property and the builders will occasionally need to use the back garden for access.

Cute cottage, compact but nicely done
Modern interiors to cute cottage, no real outdoor space and you are not allowed to use the car space on the lot. The house is nice inside but a bit cobwebby. Location is reasonable but on street parking is a problem and very tight streets. Biggest issue for us was how cold the house was- didn’t really heat up in the 2 nights we were there. The elector radiator downstairs isn’t enough- it has a gas bayonet and a gas heater should be provided instead. Then it would be fine.

A good property well located. Only concern was related to some cleanliness issues. The fridge and oven could do with a much better clean.

Could be great
The house is very nice, the neighborhood also, in fact, everything is great however, there was so much rubbish left behind that the bins had their lids open and there were bags of rubbish next to the bins. Nowhrere for us to put our rubbish and recycling and nowhere to park our car as the rubbish took up part of the space. We emailed to advise but never got a reply. Some badly positioned door stops too!! to contact.

This is a wonderful home
We really liked it … it’s a fantastic place in a great area. Convenient to the Balmain shops/restaurants and the ferry pickup point at Balmain East. It’s a bit noisy when cars drive by or when the neighbors are chatting, but that’s minor all things considered. Would definitely go back again.
