Katura Cottage - On the border of Katoomba & Leura, Blue Mountains

Katura is a much loved c1908 Blue Mountains cottage, on the border of (& walking distance to the towns & train stations of) Katoomba & Leura. She has all the charm of a period home, (including original leadlight windows, high ceilings, a claw foot bath, wood floors & fire places) with the bonus of modern additions like a 6 person outdoor spa & pool table. There is also off street parking for 4 cars, a great local taxi service, and Uber. SO MUCH to do, see & enjoy in Katoomba, Leura & surrounds!!

Please note the walk to either town is an uphill one. There is also free parking available at both Leura & Katoomba. We provide details of the local taxi & maxi-taxi service in the onsite guest book. Hertz car hire Katoomba is also a 1 minute flat walk from the home if you don't have a car & wish to travel further afield. There is also a public bus stop a few houses up, and Uber services the area.

We provide the essentials like: linen, towels (for bathroom & spa), shampoo / conditioner / body wash / soap / moisturiser, hair dryers, hangers, iron, laundry detergent (if you want to make use of the washing machine), tea / coffee / sugar / milk, cling wrap / foil / cooking oil / olive oil / balsamic vinegar / spices / salt & pepper, firewood, toilet paper, and a smart TV with complimentary Netflix. Linens / towels are professionally laundered.

The minimum night stay for this home is 2 nights, (3 nights during long weekends / school holidays, 4 over Easter and Christmas / New Year period).
