Very disappointing experience with Ibis Budget Casula Liverpool. While travelling, I had a genuine family emergency and tried repeatedly to call and email the hotel — no response at all. Despite not staying, I was charged the full amount. I even asked if they could at least apply a cancellation fee instead of keeping the entire payment, but they refused.
Expedia was no help either, saying they are only the booking platform. The manager, Angel, was not helpful in resolving the issue. I’ve been a loyal Expedia customer for years, but this experience has left a very bad impression.
Be cautious when booking here, especially if you expect responsive customer service during unexpected situations.
