You are not far from the excellent beaches of Kegnæs. Here you can enjoy the beach life at any time of the year, whether you enjoy the sun in the undisturbed dunes, listen to the calming waves or let the children search the sand for shells and beautiful stones along the child-friendly beach. There are also good opportunities for coastal fishing here, and the rest of the family will certainly appreciate a dinner consisting of freshly caught salmon, cod, plaice or fish.

For example, visit Augustenborg Castle, which was built in the 1770s and today contains an exhibition about the dramatic history of the castle and the ducal family.
