"The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back."

"There was no linen change during our 4 day stay. No fresh towels to the room or trash emptied. The toilet was off set and the seat was loose. There was mold near the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Clearly ceiling was painted over water damage. The bed was hard and the pillows so lumpy you couldn’t sleep on them comfortably. Walking across the floor barefoot turned your feet black. I would not recommend or stay there again."

"Rose Hill Inn is amazing! Beautiful room and very comfortable beds, lots of little touches (chocolates by the bed, waters and soft drinks in the fridge, coffee, complimentary breakfast which was delicious! Would highly recommend, will definitely be back! Very friendly owners!"

"The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. The patio out back was filthy the kitchen a complete mess with dishes stacked in the sink. They had cats and dogs in the house and while I was eating a cat jumped up in my lap. "This is an attractive hotel that is clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is fine. My only issue is I did not realize the rooms are not cleaned daily. The first day was fine, we didn't need clean towels or our sheets changed. By the second day though our trash cans were overflowing and we were running out of toilet paper If I had known, I would have caught the cleaning staff in the hallway and asked them to take our trash and for more toilet paper. This will not prevent me from staying...
