"This is definitely not your conventional vacation place to stay - a working farm, log cabin portions, modern kitchen appliances hidden in plain sight behind old farmhouse cabinets, eclectic decor that you can spend hours browsing and looking at so many unique items. "Great getaway. Property is beautiful and peaceful. Lightning in the cabin is somewhat dim and the beds aren’t that comfortable, but look, it’s a cabin and not a 5 star hotel. Our kids loved it and it was just what we expected and hoped it would be. Hermann itself wasn’t that impressive. "We stayed at this house over labor day weekend. Wow wow wow! Such a beauty! This is the cleanest, most modern house we have all been to. The beds were super comfortable, I ended up contacting the host asking where she got the sheets and comforter. Hilda is the sweetest and provided me links to all the things I asked about. Hilda responded to all my messages right away, no matter what time I messaged. We did not want to leave the house, we had SO much to do. Our kids’ ages are 4, 7, 11, 14 & 16...
