"Quick check in, we asked for a room at the back, we were given room 8. Nice room, comfy bed, pillows a little flat. Lovely shower room with waterfall shower, nice toiletries. It was a very hot day when we checked in, so the room of course was hot, we opened the windows. "On the plus, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and nicely furnished. The double bedroom with sofa bed I booked turned out to be a 2 double bedroom suite with a lounge with double sofa bed which was a wonderful surprise for myself and my 2 children and superb value. All the rooms had tvs and the bedrooms both had good tea / coffee facilities. The breakfast was also excellent - self service buffet with croissants, juice, cereals and good choice...

"Unfortunately this property has passed its heyday which is a shame as the potential is there. If you are looking for a relaxing break forget it as it is geared towards hen weekends/ spa breaks and multiple weddings. Property maintenance is sadly lacking everything looks tired and rundown. The drawer in our bedside cabinet would not close and the shower barely clung onto the wall. Suggest requesting a room somewhere quiet if there is such an area. "Brilliant property, stayed here with our staff for the weekend while racing at Croft. Not far from the circuit, beautiful little pub, huge rooms, very spacious and clean. Found a little gem with this place and we will be back 100%."

"Spacious room, large bathroom with good shower. Carpet marked, tea / coffee table did not match, looked like it came from a junk shop. Food was good & reasonably priced. Restraunt service could be slow at times."

"Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided."

"Good value for money. A room on 1st floor of a small terraced block of houses. Advert should be clearer that it is a shared bathroom (with one other room) and no sink in the room. A toaster, microwave, and kitchenware are provided but have to do your washing up in the bathroom sink and no teatowel provided. Comfortable bed and HUGE TV. Not as clean as could be e.g. food stains on and around the bin, toaster was quite grimy + corners of the room and staircase had visible dust. Prompt contact...

"Our room had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable & shower hot & powerfull. We ate on two nights - the food was very good & service quick. The only thing we didn't like was the peas which we both left. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. We had eggs florentine & the full cooked breakfast. The breakfast manager was very friendly & very good at his job. We wouldn't hesitate to book again & will hopefully return someday soon. Extremely handy having the bus stop right...
