"This was our second stay at The Cabin. Everything is as shown in the listing. Actually, the patio chairs are now Adirondack type. The owners are accommodating and make the rental process easy. There was a strong winter storm during our visit, but we still made use of the patio and fire pit after some shoveling. We look forward to coming back again when the lake is not frozen and we can use the pontoon and screened back porch."

"We loved the lake, fishing and enjoying our morning coffee in the comfortable chairs on the dock. The cabins were comfortable and had everything we needed. Nightly campfires and Smores were a great kickoff to summer. Lyndsey and Jeff are premier hosts, thank you. We look forward to our next stay."

"The unit hadn't been cleaned since the previous people had been there. after voicemails and texts, the owner contacted us and was able to get ahold of the cleaning company to come and clean it 2 hours after we had arrived to check in. Once we came back after the cleaner had been there, it was very nice and clean and looked as it should."

"The cabin is cozy and adorable. Close to the lake which is beautiful. The furniture, while old fashioned, was extremely comfortable. We spent a ton of time relaxing on the red couch! Had a few minor issues. The chain in the toilet kept coming loose, causing issues with flushing, and the water pressure in the sink and shower were near nothing. "The property is exactly as shown- very clean and well maintained. The area is peaceful, and a short drive to town. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying nature, peace and quiet. It was the perfect couples retreat and would be great for a family stay as well. Highly recommended staying here! We will definitely be back!"

"I had a group of women together for a get away weekend, and the cabin is incredible! Clean, spacious, great accommodations, beautiful lake. I just wish we could have had a later check out and earlier check in. But Doug was very accommodating."

"This is our 2nd stay at Sunset Haus and we will be returning this fall. This rental home is like living in the pages of MN Cabins magazine! Lake O'Brien is a quiet, peaceful lake without the water traffic on the Whitefish Chain. If you are considering renting this cabin, I would not hesitate as everything is as advertised and the owners are wonderful. "This cabin needs a lot of TLC. Very old, has 3 AC units because you cannot open any of the windows, The patio door out to the plywood covered deck; not kid friendly, is the only option for fresh air. Microwave, oven, and coffee pot were not cleaned, and lots of cobwebs. Although the boat landing was quite convenient being next to the cabin, it was very shallow here and challenging hooking the boat up to the dock. Having a longer dock may be the answer. "Loved celebrating my birthday here. Got to see the northern lights! Great communication with the owner a few days prior. Let us check in a few hours early. Great access to the lake, had everything we needed to grill. Cabin was well kept, and clean. T.V, internet and lots of games to play. We will definitely be coming back with our 4yr old."
