Mountain views, a private seven-person hot tub, and your own speakeasy game room—welcome to Ash & Alder. Spend evenings playing pool, shuffleboard, and arcade games in the Alder Room, then unwind on the deck beneath the pergola’s string lights beside the fire pit table. This East Asheville home sleeps up to 7 guests across 3 bedrooms, including two king beds, with 2.5 baths. Bring up to two dogs, settle in with self check-in, and enjoy a mountain getaway with plenty to do right at home.

Two full bathrooms and a downstairs half bathroom serve the home. Linens, towels, extra pillows and blankets, a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are provided.

GATHER AND RELAX
Settle into the comfortable living area and gather around the dining table. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator and freezer, oven and stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, and wine glasses. Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, air conditioning, heating, and a washer and dryer make longer stays comfortable.

YOUR OWN SPEAKEASY GAME ROOM
Enjoy friendly competition with a pool table, shuffleboard, and arcade games. It’s a dedicated space to hang out when an evening at home sounds just right.

MOUNTAIN VIEWS AND OUTDOOR LIVING
Spend mornings on the private deck, cook on the private BBQ grill with barbecue utensils provided, share a meal at the outdoor dining table, or relax in the lounge seating around the fire pit table. End your day with a soak in the private seven-person hot tub.

Ash & Alder is your East Asheville home base for downtown dining, breweries, Biltmore Estate, Black Mountain, and mountain adventures.

Approximate drive times from the home:
• Downtown Asheville: 15 minutes
• Biltmore Estate property entrance: 15 minutes
• Downtown Black Mountain: 15 minutes
• Blue Ridge Parkway near the Folk Art Center: 5–10 minutes

Drive times vary with traffic and road conditions. Allow additional time inside Biltmore Estate to reach the house and parking. Check current road conditions and access before mountain outings.

A car is recommended. Free driveway parking, a Level 2 EV charger, a private entrance, and self check-in make arrival easy. The garage is the Alder Room game room and is not available for vehicle parking.

BRING YOUR DOGS
Up to two dogs are welcome with no weight limit. A $100 pet fee applies per stay.

ARRIVAL, COMFORT & EASY CHECKOUT
• Self check-in with a private entrance; check in after 4 PM and check out by 10 AM.
• Free driveway parking and a Level 2 EV charger. The garage has been converted into the Alder Room game room and is not available for vehicle parking.
• Stairs are required to access and use the home; please consider your group’s mobility needs before booking.
• Two king beds plus two twin beds and a trundle accommodate up to 7 guests. Linens and towels are provided.
• The home is professionally cleaned and the hot tub maintained between stays. Enjoy easy checkout—no stripping beds, laundry, or dishwashing required.

GOOD TO KNOW
Maximum occupancy is 7 guests. The primary renter must be at least 21. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Smoking and vaping are permitted outdoors only; neither is allowed indoors. Parties and events are not permitted without prior host approval—please contact us before booking if you’re considering an event.

Guests must climb stairs. Two exterior security cameras monitor the front entrance (Ring doorbell) and the area above the garage. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–8:00 AM outdoors. The garage is the Alder Room and is not available for vehicle parking.
