Refurbished house, close to the beach, quiet central location

Contemporary, recently renovated well equipped house in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of Swanage, very close to the beach. The house has been renovated to a high standard and offers 3 bedrooms, 1 King Size, 1 double and two single beds (travel cot also available). The bathroom has a separate shower and corner bath. The newly fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer, double oven, microwave and coffee machine. The Lounge/Diner has a new large sofa and two comfortable chairs with a modern WIfi enabled TV and DVD player with plenty of DVDs. There are plenty of childrens games, toys and books and equipment for the beach. WIFI is included. There is a small courtyard garden with table and chairs. The house is set over three floors. The top floor where there is one bedroom has steeper stairs so not advised for elderly guests. The first floor has two bedrooms where stairs are standard.

The house is just a few moments walk from the long sandy beach, the shops, cafes and restaurants, the Victorian Pier and the Steam Railway. Corfe Castle, Durlston Country Park, Studland Bay, Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island, The Blue Pool, Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove are only short distances away. Children are very welcome but sorry no pets.
Parking is on the road and is unrestricted but does have limited spaces. There are other unrestricted roads nearby or a car park 7 minutes walk away (£50 for the week). The advantage is we are close to everything in Swanage. We don’t tend to need the car once in Swanage. Guests appreciate how close we are to all the amenities of Swanage.

Perfect break

We had a lovely week at the property. The location was perfect - so great to be so close to the beach and the town. Although we couldn’t park near the house, we found a spot up by the station just a few mins walk away. We would love to return!

Swanage break

Booking, checking in/out and overall communication with Katie the owner was smooth and efficient.We were walking the Coast Path and Katie kindly allowed us to check in early to drop of some essentials. The property was clean tidy and comfortable. The shower was great. The beds comfy and for 4 men the property was large enough to accommodate us comfortably. We had a great time.

Great holiday home in perfect location

This is now the second time we have stayed at this property and we find this house a perfect base for our holiday in Swanage. The house is in a fantastic quiet spot and very close to everything. No need for a car unless you wanted to travel out of the area however the bus stop and train line are a very short walk (5 mins max) from the house. We had another very comfortable stay here and there are so many extras, like toys, dvd’s and beach items that can be used along with a fully equipped kitchen. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Cosy cottage and central

We stayed over the New Year and would recommend, as Swanage stayed open and there was lots to see and do. The accommodation was perfect, being in the heart of town but still peaceful and close to beach. We found on street parking easy.

Well-equipped house in great location

The house offers everything needed for a party of 6. It was very clean and the host was very attentive . The location is perfect, beach and local shops are right around the corner. Parking can be difficult at busy times, but is manageable. We would love to come back.

Lovely house

Just a 5 min. walk from the Sea Front, Heritage Railway, and other amenities. The house is clean and equipped with everything you could need. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a break/holiday in Swanage.

Amazing location, wonderful property

We stayed in Swanage in August 2024. The property was exactly as described. Clean, well maintained, great features and very well appointed. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. But the best thing about it was the proximity to all the best parts of Swanage town. Railway station, shops, restaurants and beach were all a short walk away. We loved it, we plan to revisit Swanage soon and when we do we won’t stay anywhere else. Thanks for a brilliant getaway!

Comfortable and well equipped holiday house in a great central location in Swanage! Although the weather wasn’t the best we enjoyed a few days away including a trip on the Waverley paddle steamer along the Jurassic coast.

Great holiday home

We had a lovely time in Swanage which was close to the beach yet quietly tucked away. It had everything we needed and was nice, clean and tidy when we arrived. The ceilings are low on the stairs so watch your head it you're tall!

Perfect location, clean and tidy house on 3 floors

The house is ideal for young families as there are 3 good sized bedrooms over 3 floors. It is so close to Swanage town and beach and very clean with everything you could possibly need for a lovely beach holiday! Slight downside for us was the fact there is no downstairs loo, and the stairs are very steep so my elderly mum struggled to get up and downstairs. Also parking is limited and is on a first come first service basis so is not always possible to park on the road, but we did manage to get one on day two and just stayed there all week as we were so close to the town!

Home from home

My sister and I loved the house: comfy beds and furniture, well appointed kitchen (although we mostly ate out), tasteful decor. We loved the close proximity to the shops, amenities and beach, since we both have limited mobility. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and can imagine it would suit a family really well. (Rather steep staircases though!) Highly recommended.

Fantastic location and fantastic property

The property is very well located to the beach, town, bus and train station. The house is clean and very comfortable with so many extras like toys and beach items (buckets, spades, crabbing stuff, kites etc) which was a lovely surprise as I packed light! We had great communication from the host and all the house was full of really useful information about surrounding walks and attractions. As a family with young children we found this the perfect place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again

Lovely house in Swanage

We have had a wonderful stay in house in Swanage. Centrally located so perfect for short breaks. House was lovely, clean and well equipped. Pictures don’t quite do it justice. 3 good size bedrooms. Beds were comfy lots of storage space for clothes in bedrooms. House was well equipped especially for families with children. We would definitely like to return to the property! Host was very helpful with all key information provided and made us feel welcome. Thanks

than the photos show. We will cwdtainly book this house aThe loacation of the house is perfect. The property was very clean and had all the amenities needed plus extra. The photos on the advert do not do the property jusitce. It is much more spacious and pleasant than the photos show.
