"Called In Sic" is a vacationer's dream 4 Bedroom, 4 1/2 Bath Ocean Front home with Private Pool and Easy, Private beach access! You may want to stay a second week and tell work you "Called In Sic"! Enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and direct beach access just a few steps along your private boardwalk across the dunes. This home was recently renovated inside and out, and offers a PRIVATE OCEAN FRONT POOL for you to enjoy! This beautiful beach home boasts gleaming wood floors and granite countertops. Enjoy the privacy of four nicely appointed bedrooms, each with private bathrooms and great views. A well equipped open kitchen, dining and living area provides ample space for entertainment and gazing upon the Atlantic. Two refrigerators with ice makers, washer/dryer. Wireless internet, cable HDTV. There's plenty of room to spread out, with an additional sitting area upstairs (please note that linens are not provided for sleeper sofa). Two ocean facing decks with rockers and a swing are perfect for catching views of the boats going by and the Coastal Carolina wildlife. A convenient outside hot/cold enclosed shower, foot shower and charcoal grill provide for outdoor ease and enjoyment. Conveniently located in the 100 block, close to the bridge, this home is within walking distance to restaurants, family activities and a fishing pier. This is Ocean Front living at it's finest!

A security deposit of $500 is required at the time of booking to cover any potential damages or excessive cleaning needs during your stay. This deposit is fully refundable after your departure, provided no damage or additional charges are incurred. Please note that the deposit will be refunded to the original payment method.

Swimming pools are open each year from April 15 thru October 15. Pool heating is not available for this home. Pools are cleaned prior to arrival, and also cleaned mid-stay for 7 night rentals

We've rented many vacation properties over the years and found it refreshing that this property was in good repair, well kept and clean... We were a bit miss led about the location of the ocean front bedrooms... I floor plan would have made it clearer... Overall we had a good time and the property was great...

Excellent property

The property is so clean it has a new feel to it. The addition of gates makes it very safe for young kids. The property description has two bedrooms on the first floor but there is only one (and three on the second floor). The second floor is perfect for kids to nap and slow down.

Beautiful home, great location!

Stayed in this wonderful home for our first vacation to Holden Beach. The house was very clean upon check-in, nicely furnished and decorated, and the pool was clean. We stayed there early September and it was warm enough to enjoy the pool even though it wasn’t heated. The beach area at this location was very nice - full of shells and not crowded at all. We have absolutely no complaints and hope we can stay there again sometime!

Wonderful family vacation

We have been coming to Holden Beach for family vacation since the 1980’s and have stayed in various homes on the island. This was one of our favorites. The property was well-maintained and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds very comfortable. We loved the pool. The party lights made it fun to swim at night. The only thing that would make it better would be the addition of a hot tub. My children’s request! Thank you for sharing your property with us and for a wonderful week. The weather was perfect.

Perfect place to relax

Perfect home to relax and enjoy the ocean. Kids loved their own space upstairs to watch movies or play games. Additional refrigerator was a nice bonus. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Terrific beach house

Great Holden Beach house. Terrific location near the bridge. Easy access to everything. Has everything you need in the kitchen. We had a wonderful week. Found 100s of sharks teeth on the beach! Only complaint is that it would be really nice to offer heated pool (for a fee of course)!

Beautiful home,evacuated because of Hurricane Florence on night 2,no refund or reschedule w/insuranc

The property was great, although the floor had some very bad spots in the laminate popping up. The gate leading to the pool was broken, which concerned me as we have a 3&2 year old who easily could’ve gotten to the pool. We booked for 7 nights/8days and only got to stay Saturday and Sunday, and left Monday night at 10pm due to mandatory evacuation and traffic on the bridge was already backing up. I did purchase insurance but apparently it was useless. I was told hurricanes weren’t covered, so don’t waste your time buying it, unless you plan to cancel your trip. I reached out to the rental company, and was told they (and owner) didn’t offer refunds or reschedules which i thought was terrible, considering the circumstances of the storm. We spent a substantial amount of money to stay here and never got our money worth. I’ll never stay here again. Hurricane Season or not.

Perfect Beach House

The beach house is in excellent condition and exactly as described. It’s close to the bridge so you don’t have to drive a long way down the island to get there. Inside and out the house was clean and had everything we needed. I really liked that linens were included in our rent and there are 2 refrigerators! All around, this was the perfect place for my family. We had a great time and hope to come back next summer! A+

Perfect place for vacationing!

This is a perfect house in a perfect location! House is beautifully decorated and has many extras (including the second refrigerator and much pantry space). Had all of the kitchen items that would be needed. Loved the upgrades--kitchen, flooring, and especially the addition of the pool. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our traditional yearly family vacation. We look forward to coming back next year and would recommend it to other families. Management was also wonderful to work with.

Great house

Our family of six adults and two kids loved the house which is very clean, comfortable, and recently updated. The layout is terrific. The kitchen is well stocked, functional and pleasant. The porches are perfect for enjoying the ocean views and catching the breeze in the shade. There is plenty of good beach sand to play in and we had good waves for the kids most days. The pool and outdoor shower area are safe, convenient and comfortable. We took the Southport ferry to the Aquarium which was a worthwhile trip with good information and activities. We would definitely come back.

Awesome place to vacation!!!

Have stayed at different Holmes at Holden Beach over the last 20 years. Will definitely stay here again. Home is close to ocean and new pool was nice!! Very clean. Lay out of home was great for families with kids. All around GREAT.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

We have stayed here twice in the past 2 years and have been very pleased. Management is excellent to work with. Home is roomy, beautiful, and we're looking forward to doing our extended family vacation in 2017 there. It's quite evident the owner has good taste and keeps his rates in a competitive range which makes it affordable for us.

SUPER VACATION!!

First time at Holden beach and in spite of all the rain the first of the week, we still enjoyed sitting on the porch in a rocking chair and watching the ocean and the rain. SO RELAXING! The house is perfect and Steve Lynch is wonderful to work with! Close to good restaurants and Food Lion. The only bad thing was that a week was not enough!

We have stayed at "Called in Sic" several times and during different seasons! Our family loves to stay here and we choose "Called in Sic" every time we come to Holden Beach! The house is clean , well organized , and beautifully furnished. Love the coastal artwork! Rocking on the porch and watching the ever changing ocean and sky are a relaxing treat. There are beautiful ocean views from the kitchen, living area, bedrooms and porches! We enjoy swimming ,paddle boarding and fishing. So easy and convenient to do staying here! The beds are very comfortable. We always leave feeling refreshed and well rested. One of our favorite vacation locations!

65th birthday celebration !!!!

Brought my husband here to "Called in Sic" for his 65 birthday. Was way beyond our expectations!! House was so beautifully decorated,first thing a woman sees, very reasonably priced, first thing man sees BUT what we both saw was pure heaven! The double decked porches were our favorite place !!! We have already book again for next summer to bring our kids and grandkids !!! So perfectly laid out. Could watch the kids on the beach from the porch and I hear a pool will be added by next summer. Steve, the manager went above and beyond. He had balloons here and very nice birthday card for my husband. Beds slept wonderful. Waking up to ocean view each morning was like a dream. Each bedroom has each own en suite bathroom !!!! Loved loved loved that. So look forward to coming back ASAP . The city of Holden Beach was so pristine and so friendly. We even talked about moving here. Thanks for everything Steve. It truly was so nice to meet you. Sincerely, Connie & Marc Toole

Perfect in every way!

I've stayed at Called In Sic several times, and I have never been disappointed. The house was bright and clean, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. (Loved the artwork!) The parking under the house was a big plus in the hot summer. Double balcony with rocking chairs provided a beautiful view of the dolphins in the ocean. The private walkway to a pristine beach made for days of fun. I will absolutely be going back to Called In Sic!

Called in Sic is perfectly located so closely to the ocean-price for the week was excellent. Noting positives: Location Each bedroom has private bath Two refrigerators def a plus! Manager Steve helpful and pleasant Tastefully decorated NEGATIVES: Tight small kitchen not conducive to cooking big seafood meals Not cleaned well between patrons-floor had not been mopped-our 11month old baby's knees black after crawling across floor once-disappointing :( Terrible floors need replacing-grooved wall paneling appearance-sand stays in grooves. Also buckled in living area. Decks rough/swing old with rusty chains need updating. Sitting room upstairs w sleeper sofa needs doors-could close off and use as nursery/bedroom prn

Home away from home

My husband and I love staying at Called in Sic. We have vacationed with family here the last few years - it is a dream location. The home is beautifully decorated and faces the glistening Atlantic Ocean with direct beach access. It's perfectly situated to watch the sun rise and set. There is a great coffee spot within a 2 minute walk and Castaway's raw bar & grill for delicious food (oysters!). Fantasy Isle Ice Cream & Minigolf is also fun spot - just over the intracoastal bridge. Can't wait to visit again!!
