"The property itself was great overall, other than a couple of minor repair needs in our unit. However, we had some issues with check in and the staff. When we checked in, we were tricked into signing up for a sales presentation. When I tried to get out of it, I discovered we would be penalized a $50 fee if we didn't endure it since we had technically agreed to it, even though it wasn't adequately explained at check in. When I protested that we had two small children, I was told the presentation...

"As seniors no elevator to bring up our luggage. Place looks very dated and worn out. Stairs are crumbling. Beds comfortable. Mini golf course needs maintenance. Food next to restaurant was disgusting. Pizza was worse than frozen pizza and salad looked like rewashed lettuce with bitter dried tomatoes. This was recommended by staff. Only good thing was the sweet tea. Even our Lyft driver asked “are you staying here?”"
