"We stayed here several times for just a 1 night stay, on our travels. The owners live on site. This is the 2nd year for the new owners, I think.

"Room -230- was pretty clean and did not spell of smoke or pot. Breakfast eggs could have been cooked longer, too runny, and I usually eat anything. Cream cheese but no bagels, especially on a Saturday morning when it is busy, you should have more options. Everything else was good."

"I was considering the Marriot Towne Center in Charleston WV first bc my family was there. I'm glad I choose Microtel. Wow what a difference! My family was not at all happy at the Marriot and I could definitely see the upscale difference. My room was crisp and clean. The bathroom the same. The amenities in the room the best. Although the Continental breakfast was same as most, at least it was offered free. Marriot nothing free for breakfast. I chose the side facing away from parking lot bc it...

The fridge was broken inside frozen. we left after 1 night for a 2 night stay the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the sliding bathroom door barely opened and closed kept getting caught on the paint on the track and the toilet barley flushed"

"The lobby has dried mud all over. The first room they gave us smelled like teenage boy locker room. The second room was clean. The bathroom ceiling had black on it though. Refused to shower in it. Breakfast was passable at best. There isn’t many choices to stay in Point Pleasant that’s why it got a 3. Otherwise it would have been lower."
