"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

"Wir hatten eine tolle Woche bei Claudia. Die Kinder wollten gar nicht mehr heim. Ideal für Menschen, die die Ruhe suchen und viel Zeit miteinander verbringen wollen. "O melhor hotel da viagem! Astral toscano, visual toscano, pessoas simpáticas, solícitas, felizes e amam o que fazem. Pietro e sua esposa que cuidam do hotel nos fazem sentir em casa. É como estar de férias na casa dos avós. De longe o melhor da Colle de Val D’Elsa, que é um capítulo à parte e acolhe como amigos quem por lá se hospeda. "The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee...

"Wir waren 4 Nächte im Apartment und nutzen es als Basis zur Erkundung der näheren Umgebung. "The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"Beautiful castle that would be so much more enjoyable with just a few changes. Windows need to be able to attach to shutters so will stay open and not blow closed with wind. "The property was more than we expected. It provided a perfect location and a beautiful Italian charm. Full of character and warmth. After entering we immediately felt the love that the owner put into the place. After reading some of the earlier opinions we were ready to use both bedrooms to be comfortable… There was no need for this! The upstairs bedroom and the bed were comfortable and beautiful.
