"It's a beautiful place. We would have liked to have rented a pontoon boat but we were concerned about getting it in and our of Mason Creek. We highly recommend this property - we loved the screened in pool/outdoor kitchen right on the beautiful creek. Our family loved this place. "

" Very clean - my friends kept saying this as we stay in rentals 2-3 times a year and this house was very clean. Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Enjoyed having kayaks available to use on the river and didn’t have to bring ours. The outdoor area was perfect with nice umbrellas and three loungers. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - I suggest leaving suitcases downstairs. Thank you for allowing us to stay - had an excellent weekend. "

"Perfect, we've stayed at the Mermaid House before and are already planning a trip or two for next year. Chris, the host is quick and easy to communicate with. House is well appointed, pretty much everything you need for a stay. The pool is my favorite, listening to nature, floating with a cocktail, you can't beat it. The tiki bar is also amazing! Plenty of room, house is kept spotless and has beautiful finishes inside. "

"Loved everything about this place. The location was perfect for easy access to Weeki river every day. Pool was great for relaxing after a long day of kayaking. Hopefully owners will update bedroom pic to show the tiny cot bunks have been replaced by nice size bunk beds. We will definitely stay here again."

"Great location close to the springs and beach. House had everything to keep you plenty occupied though. Will definitely be back! "

"Bear Trail is a gorgeous property as well as perfectly located on the river. Our host Sonia was quick to respond to any questions that we had which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed the many kayaks and even rented a small boat to ride the river. We enjoyed staying here and will be booking another stay here soon. Thanks again Sonia!"
