Hocking Hills-Dog friendly cabin with private pond

The Overlook is the perfect location for your next getaway! Our one bedroom cabin is furnished with all new appliances & furniture. Enjoy the full-size kitchen with refrigerator, stove, cookware, and dinnerware. We also supply the cooking utensils. We have many extras such as a microwave, a toaster, and coffee pot. The bedroom has a queen size mattress, flat screen tv, a small closet with shelves and a bench. The bathroom has a basic stand up shower (big enough for 2), plenty of clean towels and washcloths. We also provided a hair dryer, first aid kit and of course plenty of toilet paper! Outside we have a clean well managed hot tub, a picnic table a large fire pit and we can also provide firewood ($5.00 per bundle, delivery included). We have a gas grill for those who enjoy outdoor cooking (we provide the gas). There is a large deck that overlooks the beautiful stocked pond. (Please bring your own poles) If fishing isnt your thing then enjoy a romantic ride on the paddle boat. The cabin and all the included amenities are located on a heavily wooded 200 acre lot. We have hiking trails but are still adding more, I highly recommend to all guests that come to the Hocking Hills area to stop and check out my favorite hiking spot called Rockstull Nature Preserve. It is just 2 1/2 miles from the cabin and is the areas best kept secret! We are pet friendly and hope you bring your furry buddies so they too can enjoy a wonderful getaway!

**Camera is present on the property at the front door. Used to protect the property when it is not occupied, and generally help us stay informed as to the use of the property without doing an on-site inspection. Cameras are not in any hot tub area or area where you would expect privacy.

Overall, the property and cabin were in good shape. Everything was really clean and in good condition. It's on a really nice piece of land, huge pond, and just off the road. It's perfect for a couple looking to get away in the Hocking Hills area. If you're traveling with family or kids, the bedroom and bathroom do lack a little privacy as there is no door to either. Just walls. Wasn't a huge deal for us, but may be for others. 10/10 would stay here again.

Cabin was nice, but the location near the road wasn't ideal. The pond was full of turtles and the fishing wasn't good at all. The trails weren't very good.

it was wonderful,,it had a little bit of everything,,curved roads were exciting..peaceful...a little scary at night, fun trails, antique stores nearby, glass blowing class on main street, Art and clay shop also on Main Street you can make things and paint them, good coffee too. Highly recommend this place.

Staying at this cabin with the easiest access to the hot tub and pond was amazing. We are big into fishing and the outdoors, so having a stocked pond on site was awesome, even though neither of us caught anything LOL. It rained for one entire day out of our two night stay and it couldn't have been more relaxing, just lazing around the cabin listening. The furniture is super comfortable, the layout is adorable as well, perfect for couples. I'm also a nut about cleaning and tidiness, this cabin was SPOTLESS when we arrived and very inviting. Host was also very polite and helpful when I was booking our stay

My wife and I wanted a relaxing place to get away from the noise of our daily lives for a couple days. This location provided exactly that. The cabin was clean, stocked, and equipped with everything we would need. Beside the pond and in the hot tub were great places to unwind and relax.

Wow! This was an amazing place! Very clean and the host was wonderful! We loved everything anout staying here and so did our dogs. Perfect size for us and our 2 fur babiescozyand everything you need! Hiked the hocking hills trails and found the secluded RockStall(sp?) Nature preserve near by!! You cant go wrong staying here!

My husband and I wanted a little relaxing getaway not too far from home and thats exactly what we got! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we didnt use the paddle boat and couldnt fish as much as we wanted. But we went to town and visited the antique malls and some local stores. The cabin is very easy to get to and also very private. The bed was very comfy, shower pressure was great, kitchen was fully equiped for cooking meals. Perfect property! Hot tub was very relaxing. The host responds very quickly and very nice! Thank you for such an amazing experience! We will be back!

Very relaxing and peaceful. Cabin is cozy and just down the road from a good winery. Try the blueberry wine! I would definitely book this place again in the future.

This was our third cabin weā€™ve tried in the Hocking area and loved it! We were there over the Valentineā€™s weekend and didnā€™t have the best weather. Unfortunately we didnā€™t get an opportunity to take advantage of the pond, but it was a nice visual! Loved everything about the place!
