"Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. "

"This was a quick getaway and our first time in the NC mountains. The views were beautiful. We spent our time enjoying the quietness, reading in front of the fireplace and just a lazy few days. The house was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely want to come back again."

"We really enjoyed the cabin a lot of history in the cabin. The view and the wildlife was amazing. The walk we took thru the woods and to the creek was delightful and a bit of a work out. The cabin is set in a beautiful place but yet close to blowing rock."

"The property was great and the location amazing. We enjoyed all the quirks of the property. Place was clean and organized. Everything was well labeled and easy to navigate. There were two negatives for me: first the bed I slept in was older and squeaked when you moved. The bed appeared to be an older mattress box spring with a foam topper, causing me to sleep in a hole. "I read all the reviews for this cabin and it was exactly as described. Very private and quiet. My husband, myself and our dog enjoyed ourselves very much. I was a little worried about the bathroom because of some of the reviews but we had no complaints at all. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
