"The room and bathroom were clean and the AC worked well. The front desk was very helpful and kind. The pool was nice and cold, but a little dirty. We still enjoyed swimming and were happy to have the amenity to burn energy. Best part - it's 15 min from Carlsbad Caverns. We were able to leave the park, come to the hotel to rest, and go back at sunset for bat viewing. Would stay here again if in the area."

"The room was hot and stuffy even with the AC on high. The bathtub was clogged and it stayed that way throughout the night. The breakfast was good."

"Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff needs to have someone at the front desk most of the time. When we checked in, a staff member had to come from the kitchen to the desk. Also, I had a question for them that night and no one was at the desk."

"Charming room featured a stove-style heating unit, window air conditioner, wonderful armchair and a comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful. There are coffee and muffins in the morning. Convenient location near midtown."
