"If you want to camp and have a camping experience, then this is the perfect spot! Lots of animals to see between the owner's horses and cats. The kitchen and bathroom are both shared spaces, not with the owners, but with the multiple other cabins on the property. So you are not super secluded from other people. We went in October, and the outdoor shower did not have hot water, so it was a rather cold shower. Holly, the owner, did say that they are going to replace the water heater soon, but...

"Pool was closed during our stay which was disappointing. Room was a good size and clean. However staff at front desk were a rude, barely acknowledging us. When checking in the girl had a full take out meal and was actively eating as we at the front desk. I found that a bit in appropriate for a hospitality worker. Not a great first impression."

"Stayed here for 3 nights while attending events at LCA with my husband and son. The neighborhood seems to be under revitalization, which is exciting to see - the more I visit Detroit the more I fall in love with the city. The loft is right across the street from the brand new Centennial Park, my son loved playing basketball on the NBA size court. Neighborhood and neighbors were pretty quiet and friendly. "We stayed for the night for our 11th wedding anniversary. Holly is an amazing host, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of Cowboy town along with how it came to be. Then shown our cabin which was so beautiful. It was quiet and private, there was a wedding the next day and even the preparation for that did not interfere with our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice private escape. Thank you Holly"
