"The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens"

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Claremont. On arrival the access to the car park was straightforward and once parked up we were greeted with a lovely receptionist who checked us in. The room was very clean and lovely decor. Bathroom was modern and clean with a bath and shower. We had a dog with us and the doggy welcome pack was well received. "Facilities were well organised and everything was as described. Bed was comfortable. Only downside wife me was that the carpet needs a clean, it is getting sticky under foot. Otherwise all good."

"Very pleasant stay and great location! Special shout out to Olivia who did a tremendous job at breakfast, the dining room was packed with guests and it overflowed into the lounge bar too! They were working with skeleton staff and everyone came down to eat at the same time, however, she did a fantastic job … well done Olivia!"

"This is a beautiful property in a good area. Highly recommend. 15 minutes walk to town centre, harbour in front of building with lovely walk. Bedrooms are spacious, as well as all other areas of this large two floor flat. Would definitely return again."
