The downsides are the food at the restaurante that is only ok, the pool that is always too cold, and that it's kind of hidden in a small street with almost none walking-distance options of activities. Our room was really nice and the staff was really friendly. The area was also nice, with both local and international food options. There was a shopping mall right by the hotel which was great for buying groceries and get a local coffee, and the hotel was right by the lake, so it was a beautiful walk into town.
