"For a 500 year old buiklding it is still a really great place to stay. Large bedroom & bathroom. Lots of tables in the dining areas & good menu choice. Massive carpark, a very big plus when booking. This is what swayed me. Shops & cafes near by if required."

The kitchenette was particularly useful, with all the essentials provided, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean as well-credit to the Housekeeping team! The shared areas were equally well-maintained and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, especially the lady who checked us in. "This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District."
