"Very nice place to stay, quiet country place. Was a little disappointed the pool wasn’t up and running but they did communicate options very clearly but we decided to stay and glad we did. Very spacious will definitely stay here again "

"Such an amazing home in a beautiful location. The house was clean and the kitchen was gorgeous and equipped with all sorts of cooking devices, I even saw a pizza oven in the cupboard! "

"Well appointed and very comfortable cabin. Made it an easy and stress free couple of days away from the city. "

"Our family ( 7 adults, 4 children under 4) spent 4 days at the cabin, most of the day in the lake swimming, kayaking and fishing. We had a great time! The littles enjoyed playing in the lake. A lot of time was spent on the swing and enjoying the fire ring."

"This was the perfect house for our stay in Moose Lake. We came up to do some trail riding and we could leave right from the house. Also close enough to walk to the brewery and other restaurants. The house was adorable and you could tell there was a lot of thought into all the small details. Very clean and everything seemed brand new from the kitchen appliances to the sheets and towels. Staci was quick to respond to all my messages and very accommodating to our requests. We will definitely stay...

"This was easily the nicest rental we’ve had for our annual girls’ weekend. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the hosts put a lot of thought into making the space comfortable and welcoming. The attention to detail was evident in every room. The house was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed with quality cookware and sharp knives, and the living room was spacious enough for all seven of us to relax together. "We used the Octagon for a retreat weekend and it was perfect for that. It was a beautiful property all around! Staff we interacted with were kind and helpful!"

"This home is WONDERFUL! All necessities are provided. Kitchen fully stocked. We had our yearly girls get-together here and will definitely use this place next year. We even has fun with all the games in the game room garage. The hosts responded quickly with any questions we had. If i could rate higher than a 5, it would be very high."

"Although the property is updated, it retains the characteristics of a farmhouse. The kitchen was updated, but still had, what look like, original built-ins. The bathrooms were updated, but the bedrooms looked original with hardwood floors, solid wood doors, and antique hardware. The lake was good and almost empty on Thursday and Friday. "Our family: mom, dad and 4 grown children-2 with spouses, met here to celebrate a late Christmas. There were 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and living room large enough for all of us to play games in. Also, it was dog friendly so we could include our pets in the gathering. The owner used a snowmobile to mark hiking trails which was a great afternoon activity."

"We spent 2 relaxed weeks with 2-4 adult family members. Picture postcard location, highest lot on beautiful Island Lake. Little sound from boaters, but some I-35 noise (nearby lakes the same). Friendly but well-separated neighbors on one side, undeveloped forest on the other. Access is by a paved but lightly trafficked road. A dock, clear water and sandy beach reward those who brave the 45 sturdy stairs. You can rest on spacious platforms or pick up a life jacket in the shed. The large yard is...
