"We stayed for a long weekend and we’re excited to see that it was so secluded and and had the up north cabin vibe. Everything was clean and had all the amenities we needed and more. The questions we asked the host were answered in a timely manor. The screened in porch got used the most and was nice getaway from the bugs. Nothing we didn’t like about it. "

"Property and cabin was clean and comfortable. Quiet surroundings and a quaint little General Store with great sandwiches and all the essentials. Communication with the owner was very easy, will be back at some time!"

But, the lake was nice, nice dock, fire pit cozy, beds were comfy and we had a great time! Would definitely rebook if we find ourselves in the area again."

"Had a great week at this spot! We were looking for a getaway away from people and more in nature and this definitely offered that. It's a pretty minimal setup. There's no running water on site (the pump water isn't drinkable), so make sure to bring some extra water for your stay. There was water there in a few jugs, but we found it helpful to have bottled water to put in the mini fridge. Otherwise, everything was as pictured and very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!"

"There was more than enough space for our family of six and one dog. The openness of the main living area was fantastic. We could all be in the same room or we could retreat to our own space. The thing I loved most was the view of the lake from every window. The family of loons that frequently passed by the property made it perfect. "This was a wonderful location for our annual sister's retreat! The lake provided beautiful views and kept the anglers happy feeding the fish. We visited the county fair, Moose Lake State Park and the fire museum. The road leading to the house was ideal for agate hunting and we even saw deer early in the morning!
