"Our trip was in the dead of winter. The house was clean, welcoming, and the decor was relaxing. The hosts provided great extras for children of all ages. I have 6 children from 2 to 19. There were amenities for everyone. My middles loved playing ping pong in the garage. The older kids loved being in the hot tub and making snow angels in the snow, and my littlest loved the books and toys provided. Great large shower, but not a full kitchenette (only sink is in bathroom) but owner added lots of accessories to make it easy to do basic things. The property (and one other adjacent Plum Retreat apartment that I know of) is connected to lovely & gorgeous new Secret Gardens with a new small shop & on-site events developed by the owner; the Birch apartment is a renovated part of the re-development of the former Green Gables...
