Excellent weekend reunion
Myself and several other had stayed here for an amazing weekend to celebrate the marriage of a close friend of ours. The chateau was very accommodating of our large group and provided the perfect location to relax and reconnect and share great memories!

I liked the property overall. The house and bathrooms were clean. The couch in the family room was old and also the pool table was in a bad shape. Overall we liked the property and it was exactly the same as in the pictures.

The spacing was great, the house needs work and some cleaning (pool,walls, ext) the garbage situation is TRASH !!!! But overall my mom & family had a ball.

Thank you for choosing my home for your vacation stay. We had a guest before your arrival and the garbage collector only comes once a week. As per contract you were only allow to leave 2 bags of garbage but you left a lot of excess garbage. We are in process of painting the house

Everything was good except contact with the owner. He took to long to reply to our text message.
The property is great. Some more trees to provide some shade for outdoor would be great or some type of cover over the deck and the outdoor furniture. Once the sun is up you have to go inside. I will recommend to others and hope to return one day.

House needs maintenance, shower was not working in 2bathrooms on the 2nd floor, there was fylies in the house when we walked in, there were clothes and pillows lying on the floor in the closet , please let the owner know to maintain this property for business

While I’d love to submit the actual pictures I’ll leave this brief. Not as described. Came into the house when we weren’t there. His handyman and housekeeper are neighbors. They will be stopping by often. I wouldn’t not recommend this property to anyone but the authorities.

Great House
We were celebrating my son 12th Bday with family. This house is big and spacious. I did find used cups under the beds upon arrival and garbage was not removed given we are only allowed 2 bags, notified the owner right away and 1 bag was removed. I would surely return here bc it was close to family living in PA, which was easy for them to visit us.

Nice
Very large house. In first inspection I found a few items broken so they were documented and reported to the owner. Because of the rain we were not able to ski. We did hit the waterpark. Great time for a family get-together.

Ok but not great for the price.
The home was nice but unfortunately there were several issues which will keep us from renting there again. The trash situation is unacceptable. With a five bedroom home one can easily assume there will be many occupants which include children and only allowing two bags of trash is rediuclous and to make matters worse we are asked to take our trash with us. Really!!!!!! Secondly, there is no access to the closets in the bedrooms. We came to this area to ski which meant we had alot of extra clothes and unfortunately we had no where to hang them up and had to place them on the floors. It was cluttered and difficult to move around in our bedrooms. We have rented in this area every year for the last 10 years and never have experienced the locking of all the bedroom closets. Thirdly, the owner has computer control of the thermistat and didn't want it set above 70 degrees and no matter what we would set it at for everyone to be comfortable each morning we found it changed back to 70. For the price we paid my family should have been allowed to be comfortable and the ladies and children were cold every night. Especially with it 0 to 6 degrees outside. It would also have been advantages to have had a pale of ice melt for the walkway. It was very slippery with the ice and snow. Unfortunately, the acknowledgement of the rules especially the trash are not made know to you until after you have paid and a day or so before you arrive otherwise we would not have chosen this home.

AVOID and find another home if you can.
Overall place wasn't horrible. Beautiful home and the neighbors were extremely nice and welcoming. The OWNER of the home on the other hand was/is extremely unresponsive unless it involves paying for the house. This is the reason why I am giving this home 1 star. Not to mention 2 toilets were NOT working (wish this was communicated to our group before heading out there.) Some showers had to be turned to cold so that it can be hot and vice versa. Oh, you also have to bring your own pillows, sheets, blankets unless you want to pay an extra fee, owner also makes it very clear if you use more than 2 trash bags you have to pay an additional fee. (Who does that? But that's another story) The grill did not work which was ALSO very disappointing. We had prepared meat to grill and had to make alternate plans. Also, the air hockey table displayed in photos were NOT there. The grill and air hockey table were some of the reasons we were attracted to this home in the first place. Avoid and find another home with less rules and restrictions if you can. My advice to the owner: Communicate with your guests.

Way below the expectation.. certainly not recommended.. Please don't waste your time and money
There's no option for less than one star or this house would have received it. Before renting this place for my vacation, I did check the reviews for the property. There's a negative review by Kenneth S. dated June 9, 2015 highlighting the problems with the house that caught my attention, but since then I saw 4-5 very positive 5 star reviews after that, I thought the issues have been resolved. Well to my surprise, this place is still a mess as described in the previous review. Everything line by line from the old review still applies to my review of the property as well. Just to add on to that, the property manager is not at all helpful when it comes to replying to emails, or communicating the RULES OF THE HOUSE in advance. I received a really long email from Mr. Adams, just 4 days before the actual vacation. There was no time for me to make alternate arrangements. Please read the following very carefully before renting out this place: 1. The stated price is NOT what you pay. Additional cleaning and processing fees are added, so expect to pay much more than you think. 2. You pay for what you get. This house is exactly just that, walls, floors, ceilings and doors. Absolutely nothing is included, and when I mean nothing, I really mean nothing. Standard cleaning items like garbage bags, dish soap, sponges or even a broom to tidy up are not included. There is an extra fee to use towels and linens so make sure you bring those as well. On the positive, there was not an additional fee to use the mattresses. 3. The person responsible for answering emails will only respond to emails if he has a positive response. This makes it exceedingly difficult to plan what to bring when a response to simple questions like "does the house have salt, pepper or sugar?" goes ignored. Well the answer to that question is "No." If you are considering this house for a stay (which I would not recommend), bring everything, except for shower curtains, shockingly those were included. 4. You are limited to two garbage bags, which shocker, you need to provide yourself. It is also strongly recommended that you carry your own trash when leaving. The instructions for garbage include separating out garbage from plastic, glass, and paper, although it is unclear if these three separate bags count against your limit of two. I wish I could write more but unfortunately there's a character limit I have to abide by. Refer to Kenneth's review dated June 9 for more.

Beautiful, clean home
We stayed in this wonderful home during a weekend in April. With a group of 11 we had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Everything needed was there. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway.

Perfect stay
The perfect home. Mr.Adams was very attentive and responded quickly. Home was clean and organized. I must say the house was big enough for 10+. A huge plus is that this home isn't close to neighbors so it was a very private/ secluded home. Thank you for a great vacation!

Lots of surprises
There were lots of surprises with this rental we have never experienced before. Paying for use of linens and amount of trash we could use were the biggest! Having to deal with these made it seem less like a vacation. That coupled with a home that was not clean from even the basic standards. Toilet down stairs not working. Floors sticky and dirty. Everything dusty. Garbage under front porch. The front porch steps lean backwards making them an hazard each time you enter and leave! Futons disclosed as queen sized beds that were hard as rocks. Game room and study considered in bedroom count which aloud little privacy. Very disappointing in what was presented versus what was received.
