"A nice and open lake view on the south side. Six apartments with long and wide patio at back. Spacious parking in front. One bedroom and one living room with sofa bed. Rental Canoe and boat available. Firewood and fire pit. Caught one fish on dock. Clean lake and warm water in August. Overall a nice 3 days stay."

"Greatly enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was supplied as described. Only issue was that "Cabin #2" (this is Cabin #1) was very close to us (about 50m apart?)-- and we didn't feel it was described this way. Sitting at our picnic table you could distinctly hear voices and clinky of dishes from the others. They were not being loud -- the two cabin are just very close. "Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. "

"Super freindly guys at reception. They were so kind and helpful!! The area is nice and the paths are great. The house was so lovely and had everything we needed. We had some amazing sunsets!! Only wish the restaurant was open and bar was running..it was always closed so we had to make sure we were well stocked."

"This is a great cottage in a perfect location on a private lake. It easily accommodated 2 adults, 4 tweens/teens and our 2 dogs. We've rented a lot of cottages and Emma is by far one of the best hosts we've ever rented from. Great communication/responsiveness and well detailed instructions made this a perfect trip. Only 3 mins into the small town of Novar for some groceries/wine or less than 15 mins to get to downtown Huntsville. We'll definitely be looking to rent this cottage again!"

"The property is stunning. The dock onto the river is breath taking. Bit steep if you dont have great mobility, but was perfect for us. Beds were both queen size and comfy. The futon was not the most comfortable but perfect for lying on and enjoying the fireplace. Kitchen was fully stocked and had a drinking water spout. Host was extremely kind and responsive when needed. My partner and I had an amazing experience here and looking forward to coming again."
