"The place was fine but the ac unit was not working . The high tempatures and humidity it was 85 inside the majority of time . I rented this place to work and relax and I spent my time waiting for hvac appointments etc and being hot, not able to sleep becuase of the heat. If the air conditioning was working it would’ve been really nice ."

"Great place to stay! Very cozy & comfortable with a creative flair to the decor. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to general store and nearby wilmington. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with lake views!! Our only recommendation would be to keep a path around the firepit down to the dock mowed/trimmed. "This house was fantastic. We didn’t have the best weather this Memorial Day weekend but the house, pond and view made up for it. Jeremy stocked the house with everything we could possibly need including fresh eggs from the resident chickens, bacon, snacks and so much more. It was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Our dog enjoyed watching the beautiful fish in the pond and visiting the chickens. We can’t wait to return!"
