"Disabled in wheelchair room hardly a disabled room as claimed was hidden in corner could not access food ended paying 120 for just 1 plate of shrimp wood not recommend at all was offered a free coffee no refund run my ex mayor stay away if u are disabled in fact was so bad for us I recommend all stay away he only interested in your money for his future projects"

"Room was clean and a relatively good size. Not as sound proof as some other hotels we’ve stayed at but noise only came from corridor and other doors closing. Great situation though as easy walk to supermarket and city centre."

"Great location to explore NP and beautifully appointed. Loved the access to the gym around the corner. I thought it might be noisy being so central but didn’t hear a peep. Hope to return. "

"Grounds are immaculate. Great view of the bush/river. Comfy bed. Good water pressure. Manager was fantastic. Good location (7 mins from New Plymouth by car). Quiet, safe. Can bike safely to New Plymouth ( sidewalk to round about on state highway 3 then side street with on road cycle path). Restaurant with yummy food on site. Things that could be better: Had only one BBQ so you need to reserve it in advance. Great stay and definitely a place I would go back. "

"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️"
