"Property was as expected. Parking was plentiful, room was clean, food was good. Stayed here with my 85 year old mother-in-law who has mobility issues and is dairy, wheat and gluten free. Food was a little limited and the lack of a non dairy spread at breakfast was a surprise. however the staff went out of their way to accommodate her and as this was her first time in any hotel she loved it."

"This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. "The room itself was very nice, and the host was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, it felt as though the property was closed, which was a little strange. Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper. "We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"The bedroom is clean, sheets and mattress are comfy. The bathroom was dirty, there were fake tan marks on the walls and shower curtain. There was black hairs on the bath when I arrived. The shower has been installed too low, to the point an average sized person would need to crouch down to wash their hair. The shower head was also broken and didnt hold the position. "
