"We stayed in this lovely flat in the pretty village of Edzell for one week. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a perfect location. We had great walks in the village and beyond and the park across the road was ideal for our young Labrador. We would definitely recommend it. Many thanks."

"We were meeting friends to go to the Highland games and there were little lodging available at a reasonable price. I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. One friend was very tall and in a bothies with lower ceilings so they offered a different one but they didn't mind. We all enjoyed the wood stoves, the environment, and the beds. "Liked the rustic nature and the serenity of the surroundings. Shooting clay pigeons with David and Dan was awesome and great value. Highly recommend this activity. Fly fishing the River Dee with Ian Murray was also good fun...but the fish were elusive."

"We used a family room for a night due to an early flight the following day. The room was very large, clean, great beds and linen with good facilities. We also had a free shuttle bus service to the terminal. The only thing to make it even better would be somewhere to put cases on - the room was plenty big enough! All in all fantastic value for money! Would absolutely stay here again."

"I like the large TV in the room, the very spacious room and bathroom, the bathrooms feel new. Nice to have a fridge. A very comfortable stay. Do not eat here though. The Blairs restaurant is massively over priced tiny portions of overly complicated food with too many flavours that don't mix well. The bar food menu hasn't changed since at least January. If paying £9.00 for an avocado sandwich, I would expect some actual avocado, not a tiny smear on the bread and half a raw red onion. ...
