David and your group: Wow what a group of Mature Adults. NOT! These guys took it upon them selves to rearrange all the linens in the closet, they rearranged all the bedding in the storage hutch for the futons AND these mature adults Rearranged the 2 bunk beds , facing the ladders against the walls. The room is too small to switch them back with out removing the dresser first. Dick move!!! On top of that , I have a displaced family moving in the next day and had to deal with this BS from Daves group. I am pursuing vandalism charges though the vrbo website. I strongly advise NOT renting to this group. And by the way, if 2200 sq feet inside and a 1000 sq ft deck out side is not enough room for 12 people? Really!!! And Futons are not meant to be comfortable, they are a dual functionable sitting space and sleeping space. In the 4-5 years I have been renting out my place , this is the most disrespectful group I have encountered!

Pam, I am truly sorry the oven did not work. I had no idea. I can't thank you enough for telling me before your rental ended so I had a chance to replace it before the next renter. I only wish the previous renters were thoughtful enough to do that. Dan

First of all I did not ghost you. I needed some time to get to the property to read the welcome letter to review what it says. I needed to make sure it did not say that the downstairs game room was intended for renters. The lower level of the property was not mentioned in the listing because it is not included in the rental of this property. The welcome letter explained that there are beach towels and chairs in the doorway of the lower level with a key provided to access them. These items are left on the lower level as a courtesy for our renters, so they do not have to haul beach gear up and down the stairs. There is no mention of a game room in the welcome letter. It says “Feel free to enjoy our beach chairs and toys, games, etc. Simply remember to put them back in clean condition. Beach towels, chairs, and toys are located in the glass door on the ground floor. The key is hanging on the entryway upstairs.” The room in question was once a laser tag arena and had been used for Halloween parties as well. There are remnants of drawings from these activities visible on the walls and floor when black lights are used. This room is not intended for renters. If it were, there would have been a description of the pool table, foosball table and bags game in the property listing. Upon your departure I checked the status of the beach towels. I did not find spider webs across them. You must have cleaned them off, thank you. We have since moved the towels upstairs and no longer have chairs offered to renters. It was clearly stated the key was to give you access to the items inside the glass door, not access to the entire building. In 3 years, this was the first instance where a renter took advantage of access to the items in the lower entryway and took it upon themselves to go into areas not intended for their use. When I did your post stay inspection, I found large stains on the deck around the grill that were not there prior to your stay. We have had nothing but positive reviews from renters before and after you. It is unfortunate that because you chose to wander into areas not included in the rental of the property you did not have a positive experience.
