Amazing, relaxing lakeside property. Now available for a minimum of 3 nights stay.

Bring the whole family (even Fido) to this spacious and open concept retreat. Get yourself to this three bedroom and two bath stunner that has been newly renovated and professionally decorated for a dose of lakeside luxury. Located on the South end of Beaver Lake, you are perfectly situated to fish, play and watch the action on the lake during the day and catch the loons, spectacular sunsets and stars in the evening.

Stunning inside and out, this property features all the amenities you need for your vacation. From the gourmet kitchen to the primary suite, every detail has been thought of. With an oversized island and professional sized stainless steel appliances youā€™ll find this kitchen perfect for the chef in your group and if outside cooking is your thing than take your pick of the Traeger smoker grill or the Napoleon barbecue. This property features an abundance of seating, lavish beds, flat-screen tv's, hand tiled walk in shower and more all waiting for you. This beautiful retreat features 3 large bedrooms with 1 king master suite and two additional queen bedrooms (one with an additional twin and pull out trundle). Enjoy the many indoor gathering places such as the screened in porch, large dining table, oversized sectional sofa and even more outdoor seating areas such as the oversized deck, massive stamped concrete fire pit patio and hot tub. Each room and space has been professionally decorated and well thought out to meet guests every want and need. Hardwood for campfires will be available on site at a reasonable rate.

Take advantage of the many water activities including use of the provided stand up paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boat, floating toys and the list goes on. If fishingā€™s your thing then be prepared to land a big one right off the dock, we have great fishing for bass, pike and pickerel. Bring your own boat if you like too and park it right out front, the public boat launch is less than ten minutes by boat.

There are many fun local activities to enjoy including the dark night viewing area. Some shopping in the town of Napanee or all the big boxes and main street area in Kingston if youā€™d like to travel further. We provide all of our guests with a guide of things to do near by and an informational package to make sure your stay is the best it can be.

Fantastic fall getaway

Dan & Barb have a beautifully appointed cottage with so many details attended to. All yh amenities are fantastic! As a foodie, my husband was delighted that the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, including an induction stove cooktop. Th nds were very comfortable, the view is still running and the grounds are impeccably taken care of of. The firepit was a treat after enjoying the hot tub. They were highly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great vacation!

Wonderful stay at relaxing cottage

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful cottage. It surpassed our expectations. Every detail has been so well thought out and the decor is so pretty. The property was great for a campfire on our last night when friends and family joined us. The hot tub is a highlight for sure. I highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage with many homey small touches!

Beaver Retreat is a beautiful and well appointed cottage. Everything was as described, but the additional homey small touches made it truly unique. We enjoyed the coffee/tea bar including the milk frother. There were a number of throws to snuggle up in on a cool evening. The bath salts and room diffusers were enjoyed by the whole family. The kitchen and barbecues were a joy for family meals, and the variety of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating gave ample options for time together as a family or alone time as required. We played games together (we became Uno fans over the course of the week),kayaked, used the lovely hot tub, but mostly relaxed. Barb and Dan are responsive and provided a fantastic guide to their cottage. We would be happy to come back!

Another Great Stay

This was our second three-generation family vacation at this beautiful location. The lake-front home is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. The lake was warm for swimming, beautiful sunsets on the dock and the hot tub was incredibly relaxing in the evening. Can't wait to go back.

It was tough leaving

Leaving the Beaver Lake retreat was incredibly tough. Our family, my cousin, and his wife had an unforgettable week there. The cottage is stunning and feels like a home away from home. Dan and Barb, the hosts, go above and beyond to ensure that their guests are well taken care of. The cottage is fully equipped and even includes an array of toys and games. There's nothing like starting your day with a cup of coffee and the serene sounds of nature at the dock. It's truly a beautiful and rejuvenating experience. Then, to end your day, relax by the beautiful firepit with all the wood and accessories you need for delicious sā€™mores and a relaxing vibe. When I read the comments from previous guests who enjoyed the cottage, I realized it's even better when you experience it yourself. Another Wonderful Week

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dan and Barb's beautiful Beaver Lake retreat. Although we have rented cottages for many years, this is the first one to which we have wanted to return. Dan and Barb are attentive and kind hosts who work hard to create a magical place - from the beautiful landscaping, stylish, luxurious, cozy and amenity filled cottage, the location and amazing sunset views to the abundance of outdoor water activities that kept two teenage girls busy and engaged all week. Pet Friendly Oasis

The cottage was fully stocked. They have thought of everything that you could possibly need. The outdoor space was purposeful with excellent patio and view of the lake. Beautiful covered hot tub that we enjoyed even when raining. The family pets enjoyed the patio that included gates to keep them safe. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

True to what is pictured and described

What an amazing place with so any options. If it is cold there is a hot tub, fireplace or you can have a fire. If it is hot there is AC and lake activities available. Seating areas are abundant and if you want sun or shade, you can rotate with the sun. But it was all the small touches that made this place stand out as well, like herbs grown outside for people to use while cooking. We wanted for nothing, it was high end and absolutely a winner!

The Cottage the has everything

Two families of 4 came together to close out summer. The cottage was perfect in every way. Dan & Barb not only provided a very thorough PDF ahead of time outlining, pretty much everything and were very responsive if there was a need. We barely left the cottage as there were so many outdoor activities to enjoy. Highly recommend!

We didn't want to leave!

Dan and Barb's property is simply incredible. We were all (kids, tweens, teens, adults) thrilled and thoroughly entertained for our entire stay. They've truly thought of everything. Beaver Lake is gorgeous, perfect swimming especially for kids. The range of water toys/boats was fabulous, the hot tub divine especially as the weather turned a bit chilly on some days. The kitchen is super functional, beds very comfortable. Great to have a bit of a lawn as well for lawn games/kids running around. Super convenient access to groceries etc. in Tamworth. Highly recommend for your cottage getaway!

A Wonderful Experience

The lake house is a beautiful property with great views of the lake from the dock and multiple decks. Well landscaped with beautiful plantings, including garden herbs in flower pots. Dan and Barb are great hosts; they provided plenty of information before and on arrival and even shared fresh picked tomatoes and peppers from their garden. A thoroughly modern kitchen with everything you could want. The house is well furnished with plenty of nice decorative touches. Big comfy beds that made it hard to get up in the morning. Gorgeous cottage on a beautiful lake. Well stocked kitchen, lots of gear for lake and lawn activities. Even a little box of "Oops I forgot" supplies that we raised for birthday candles. Highly recommended for people of all ages!

A Special Place

Our family of six, aged 15 to 84, and our pup have just returned from Dan and Barb's Beaver Lake Retreat. I won't repeat what the other reviews so aptly communicate about this extraordinary property. The very kind and attentive hosts who have considered every detail of what will make their guests' stays comfortable and memorable, the beautiful gardens and landscapes all around the property, the endless hours of outdoor (and indoor, if rainy) fun - in the lake, the firepit, the hot tub, all surrounded by nature, the herb garden. Oops, I'm repeating! Now imagine the feeling... it's dusk as you sit on the comfy couch, in the screened in porch, a blanket over your lap, a good book and your favourite beverage in hand, the sun is setting but still ablaze as the hues of purple, pink and blue shift and change, the breeze wafts in through the open windows and the waves lap rhythmically against the shore while the loons call in the distance... heaven. This is only one of many experiences and memories my family will hold and share for years to come. Thank you Dan and Barb for the care and hard work you have put into creating this special place - we would book again in a heartbeat! The Kinneys
