"This hotel is absolutely perfect. The owner was the nicest guy you could ever meet. Couldnt do enough for you and was genuinely friendly and interested in talking to us. The hotel itself was immaculate and well presented. The breakfast was outstanding. The room itself was comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and good pillows.... not many hotels offer that. We stayed here to go to alton towers so was perfect location. We without a doubt will be staying here again and would recommend...

"We were greated by a friendly recepcionist who was very helpful and polite. The bedroom was clean and spacious with everything needed for a short stay. The buffet style breadfast was plentiful and well cooked. The hotel is very close to the centre of town. Ideal if going to the Regent Theatre as it is only a short 5 minute walk away. Would recommend this hotel if staying in Stoke"

"If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building"

"My mum and I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. It’s set around a beautiful, tranquil courtyard garden with a Koi fishpond. The room was lovely, clean, fresh and quiet. The owner is adorable, friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us including a last minute room change to a family room. I will definitely be staying here again. If I could give you 10*s, I would. Congratulations on a perfect hotel. "
