"Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends."

The owner, Gary is most helpful, and kept us fully informed of the new arrival procedure. For a Chinese meal, highly recommend the Pearl Dragon Cheadle. They also deliver. "2 families stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. We couldn’t have stayed any closer, The Old Barn literally on the doorstep. The property have a very homely feel which made relaxing easy. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. "Well lovely spacious accommodation so close to Alton towers I sort of worked out it is quicker to walk from the cottage than it is to drive into the car park and walk. I was very happy being in there and the large sofa and fire were so homely "

"This was a lovely property on a farm & great value. The welcome was warm & friendly. The beds were comfortable & the freshly laundered bed linen smelled lovely. It was a short drive to Alton Towers. The WiFi was slow though & there isn't great mobile reception. However, I would thoroughly recommend it & we all said we would stay again in a heartbeat."
