Welcome to Raven Rock Post, a historic retreat in the Delaware River Valley minutes from Stockton, Lambertville, and New Hope, PA. Perched above Bull’s Island along the Delaware River canal, this late-18th century property is one of the last original buildings in the hamlet of Raven Rock. Once the Raven Rock Post Office circa 1800, it has been thoughtfully restored with curated interiors, collected art, and the charm of a small European village.
The space
Across the street from the Delaware River and Bull's Island, Raven Rock Post is made up of a small collection of historic stone buildings tucked into the hillside — including three antique row homes and a standalone artist’s studio. Together they evoke the feeling of a small European village quietly set into the landscape, with thick stone walls, simple forms, and rooms full of natural light. #3, the largest of the row houses opens its doors for a restorative retreat.
The interiors blend collected vintage furnishings with modern comfort, creating a space that feels layered, calm, and welcoming. Throughout the home you’ll find antique pieces gathered over time, a curated collection of art and photography, and decor sourced from beloved design shops such as Wentworth in Charleston. The art throughout the house is rotated seasonally.
Thoughtful details help elevate the stay, including Boll & Branch linens, an Arke coffee maker for slow mornings, and carefully chosen lighting and vintage accents that give the home a sense of personality.
Raven Rock Post sits in one of the most charming pockets of the Delaware River Valley. Just across the street is Bull’s Island Recreation Area, with direct access to the scenic Delaware River Towpath for walking and biking along the canal.
Nearby towns offer some of the region’s best dining and antique shopping. Guests are minutes from Stockton Market, the Stockton Inn, the Carversville Inn, the Black Bass Hotel, the Swan at Lambertville, Broadmoor, and the Speckled Egg Café, along with favorite antique destinations like James Curran Antiques, the People’s Store, and Delaware Valley House Parts.
Raven Rock Post is designed as a place to slow down—where mornings begin with good coffee, afternoons are spent exploring river towns and countryside roads, and evenings settle into the quiet rhythm of the landscape.
