"We couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Despite rain on and off for the 4 days we were there the home was spacious enough for our family (ranging from age 1 to 61) to spread out. Lots of room for the kids to play, adults to play cards and games and even space in the 3 season room to play guitar while gazing over the beautiful lake that was rapidly rising. "We stayed in this lovely old house during a stretch of gloomy weather, and it turned out to be the perfect place to be. Everything was clean, comfortable, and full of character. The cozy atmosphere made staying indoors feel like a treat. Grateful to have found such a welcoming spot! "

"This lake cabin was complete with kayaks, a dock, a little beach, fire pit, deck, grill, and front and back yard space, all of the components for an unforgettable lake weekend. There’s also a ton of sleeping space with an extra loft above the garage as well as the bedrooms in the house. The 1 bathroom was no big deal for just a weekend and we had 8 people and didn’t mind it. The shotski was really the cherry on top. "Perfect for all ages. Well equiped all around. Comfortable, quiet, relaxing. Many things to do nearby. Enjoyable just staying on the property. Did not once hear anyone say they were bored."

"We were so impressed with the house and beautiful property! It was perfect for our families to enjoy and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. We spent most days AND evenings on the wrap around deck enjoying the views of the lake.The house had everything we ever needed and Mike was super responsive when we had questions during our stay! We can’t wait to go back!!"

"My husband grew up in Ortonville so we planned a family trip back to visit Grandma/Great grandma. The house was perfect for all 7 of us. It had plenty of room and a great yard which had a perfect view of the lake. We will definitely stay there again. "

"We pick a lake every year go our family summer getaway. The cabin is beautiful and the view from the sun room is amazing of the lake. We used the black stone for brunch every morning and having a pellet grill available was great. Kids used the Kayaks to fish and enjoy the lake. For a quiet getaway and relaxing day of family and cards there is no better place to hang with family. Oh and don’t miss out on the meat locker in town summer sausage and beef jerky are amazing!!! "
