Near the Baltic Sea, between the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and the Holstein Switzerland, is the place Curau, which belongs to the municipality Stockelsdorf. The apartment is located on a Bioland farm - the Spatzenhof. The Spatzenhof is directly adjacent to the Curau Golf Course and has direct access to the golf course.

If you drive to the Spatzenhof, you will find at the end of the impressive Lindenallee, which leads to the main house, on the left side of the courtyard, the former workshop, which was converted under monumental conditions into a residential building. On the ground floor left is the approx. 42 sqm apartment with private entrance. The entire house has been extensively refurbished and meets the latest standards. The floor is lined with soaped planks and the plastered walls painted with a white organic paint. The sunlit apartment is cozy and furnished with wooden furniture. It has direct exits to the courtyard and to the underlying plot, which of course can be shared.

The apartment consists of two rooms, a very bright shower room and a hallway. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (about 2x90x200) and corresponding storage facilities for clothes and luggage. The living / dining room is furnished with a sofa bed (120x190), shelves, table with four chairs, fitted kitchen with oven, hob with four rings, fridge, dishwasher, TV / SAT and radio with CD player. The kitchen is extensively equipped with the necessary accessories.

Garden furniture and chairs are also available and there is a lockable shed for bicycles. Washer and dryer are available in an annex building. Car parking spaces are located directly at the house

The Spatzenhof can look back on over 140 years of history. Horses are still kept in the yard. More houses on the Spatzenhof such. B. former chicken house, granary, workshop and westl. Barns were completely refurbished and converted into residential buildings. Apartments have been built, which have been built with great empathy and skill, so that the character of the farm has been preserved. The farm offers relaxed tranquility under linden and chestnut trees.

The golf course of the Golf Club Curau joins the farm grounds directly. It is one of the few golf courses in Germany, which was created according to ecological aspects and is managed accordingly. The first green, the clubhouse and the driving range are only a few meters away and easy to reach on foot. On this golf course guests (guests) are welcome.

The Curau Moor also invites to walks. In the network of trails that opens from here, there are many small attractive trails with peat bogs, Galloway meadows and small bush groups.

The seaside resorts Timmendorfer beach or Scharbeutz are both only about 14 km away and thus within a few minutes by car. After Lübeck drive only about 10 km. Furthermore, Curau is located on the edge of the Holstein Switzerland, which invites to long bike rides or to wonderful boat trips. 

The diversity of Ostholstein leaves a lot of scope for individual design possibilities of the stay. The convenient transport links to the A1 and A20 makes it easier to get there and also to quickly reach the metropolis of Hamburg and the cities of Kiel, Schwerin or Rostock.
