"We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes. " We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. "Was a wonderful getaway with my family. Plenty of space for everyone, indoor and out. We especially loved the lower level game room, lots of fun for all ages. The deck was a nice gathering spot, we saw a mama turkey and her babies. Was nice to be able to prepare meals together without getting in eachothers way.There is a no shoes in the house policy, I would suggest bringing some comfy slippers as most of the house is tile."

"We were happily surprised to find the cabin surpassing our expectations, as listed in the VRBO description. In addition to the hot tub, other features, including the availability of kayaks, paddle boards and the paddle boat, made for a prefect stay in the woods experience for our three generation family; our young granddaughters loved it, as did we!"

"We had a relaxing and fun winter vacation in this lovely home! Our extended family gathered for the holidays and were greeted with a festive tree and twinkling lights — so wonderful! We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and big family table (for meals, games and puzzles). This is a perfect spot for everyone to have time together, as well as time apart (nice bedrooms for restful nights). Thank you! "

"This place was awesome! Accomodations are great for 3 adults. But yet the loft was used by one and he was fine. Younger golfers or families would love this place. Basement in the future may have more options. Overall, we loved our stay. Grill and fireplace area were great! "
