"Honeybee is the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor and everything it offers. The 2 parking spaces are highly valuable! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so maybe don’t invite the loud friend or family member, at least not if you like to hang outside in the evening. All in all we had a great stay! The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars for me was due to the quality of beds, but I have really high standards."

"Home was clean and in a great location to walk all of Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Also nice being able to walk to the Explorer bus stops to access Acadia park trails and sights without parking issues if you come during busy season (bus only runs certain months, did not use this visit but have on previous visits and LOVED the easy access)"

The location of the property was right near town, but still a little off the main street so it was comfortable and quiet. The home provided us with plenty of space for all of us (5 grown adults) to stay and hang out. Stephanie was great the entire time and provided quick responses along with recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again as I know I’d have a fantastic trip!"

"We had a wonderful time hiking Acadia with our dogs during the quiet season. It was great that the property was available to us when most of the rentals are closed for the winter. The property was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It was located right near the Schoodic Point, a beautiful area of Acadia. We got to take in the exciting remnants of a coastal storm from a safe distance. All of us truly enjoyed our stay."

"Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place."

"We had an excellent stay in this home. We use short term rentals often and I believe this is the absolute cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and roomy. There were only 2 of us so we only used one bedroom upstairs but the bed was comfy and we had plenty of linens and towels. Having dedicated parking was wonderful and the location was great- only a short walk to downtown. Good communication with the host and overall just a great stay. Would definitely recommend."

"This sweet cottage worked very well for us! Seal Harbor was very quiet & away from crowds. Just a short walk down the the quiet Jordan Pond Rd is a lovely carriage trail that takes you through the woods to Jordan Pond! It is a 15 minute drive to busy Bar Harbor and many of the trail heads for some spectacular hiking!"

"Lovely home with all accoutrements. Great view. Weather was terrific. Deer were plentiful on property and on Pigeon Hill Road-Careful! House was very clean on arrival. Minor issues-could not get combination lock to work; call to managers gave us combo to key box-all good. Was a little disappointed with road between house and beach; little or no traffic-so really no issue. Should have been mentioned in AD. Lite in refrigerator inoperative-Tory fixed it-very personable. "This comfy, spotlessly clean cottage is tucked away on a quiet street directly across from the water. We were able to explore so much: Millbridge, Ellsworth, Hancock, Trenton, Bar Harbor, Acadia (both at Bar Harbor & Schoodic), and lots of unincorporated area. I cannot say enough about how nice this cottage is. Additionally, the host, Wanda, was very helpful and a joy to work with. She even made sure to check in on us when a storm blew through and knocked out the power, which lasted appx. 8 hrs....
