"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "The whole staff was very helpful and personable, but I wanted to give a shoutout to Tony, who went above and beyond. I called an Uber on my last day, and it kept delaying the arrival time. When I became concerned about missing my train, and a taxi was going to take too long to arrive, Tony took me to the train station himself--talk about going the extra mile! (Also, note that Uber is currently not reliable in Canterbury--hopefully that will change in the future). "
"Great location for me, within walking distance of all the major sites, plenty of dining options nearby, the building itself was a treat! Staff was helpful. I was having a minor laundry emergency (a previous booking didn't have laundry services as advertised) and they were kind enough to accommodate me quickly and efficiently. The only down sides were seasonal. Our stay coincided with high temperatures and our room was stuffy, which is completely understandable, but the windows were not screened....

The hotel is located by the entrance to the Cathedral, near stores, pubs and restaurants. Comfortable clean room. Ours was an ensuite. I would definitely recommend it. "
