"I think the downside was, it was warm and a bit noisy at night as it was near the pub and people were dining outside where we could hear the loud chats and laughs. But, I love the ambience and view of the place. I definitely will come back to visit again. "

"We stayed there for 3 plus weeks! Just an amazing property! We have stayed at wonderful places around the world and pound for pound this was as nice as any. It had every comfort of home and we woke up, the view from our bed was a closeup view of the Alps, the Lauterbrunnen Valley and numerous waterfalls The negative was checking out! Die Lage ist wirklich einmalig, die Aussicht über die Berge ist beeindruckend und die Möglichkeiten gleich ein paar Wanderungen von dort aus zu starten, hat uns sehr gefallen. "Everything about chalet Sulegg was as expected in terms of accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We did a little laundry too.The view was breathtakingly stupendous! Changing all day with clouds coming and going. The walk up and down is pretty extreme, 200 vertical feet in about a third of a mile. We took a cab up on departure day with luggage, 25 CHF, worth every penny. I would recommend taking a cab down on your first day, the driver knows...

"Lovely view from the deck and nice home with clean facilities. We enjoyed our visit and love the town of Wengen. Only reason not a 5 star rating .....Had a musty smell but wasn't sure if that was from the communal hallway or unit itself. We bought some cleaner and scent to eliminate odor. The other factor was the old furniture and decorations. They were functional and clean. With a decorating makeover this house could be a 5 due to all other factors. "
